S was inspired by the MAKER FAIR and wanted to do some more MAKE. as it happened I was lucky on a eBay bid scoring the parts for a game controller. it came with 12 buttons, a clicky joystick, and ALL the wires to connect it to a USB interface that was built for gaming.

the trip started looking for wood to put holes into. the ACE under the freeway did not have the wood. we left with DRILL bits and RUBBER STOPPPERS. then pointed to Lowes. the wood was there. we got it cut to 16″. and returned for building.

S did all the work. all those holes. and all those solders are hers. it worked the first time when connected to the the Retro Game MAME laptop.
