woke up in time to watch an Iridium flare at o-dark-ten-to-six. without moving I could see that there was nothing to see. clods filled the sky. I moved to the window anyway. downtown was Karl covered. there were no holes at all. as you might not know, in San Francisco there are micro climates. the Upper Haight might be pea soup and down by Death Star Park it is clear skies. not today. all of everything was covered.
 
I was excited about seeing -8. MiNUS EIGHT! the path of 58 was right above me. oh well so much for seeing brightest thing ever. next…
